Wednesday, 25 March 2026By Phil House

Rodway Hill Golf Club – AGM 2026 Summary

The Annual General Meeting of Rodway Hill Golf Club was held on Friday 27 February 2026, with strong attendance from across all sections of the Club. Members observed a minute's silence in remembrance of those who had passed away during the year, and the minutes of the 2025 AGM were approved.

Reports from the Ladies', Seniors' and Men's Captains reflected a busy and successful year both on and off the course, highlighting competitive achievements, strong participation in matches and competitions, and a wide range of social events. Captain's Day was a particular highlight, raising over £3,500 for charity, and the Club continues to represent Rodway Hill with pride in county and national competitions.

The Treasurer outlined the Club's financial position and confirmed that, as previously signalled, annual subscriptions will increase from 1 April 2026. This was explained in the context of rising affiliation and administrative costs, and full financial details are included in the attached accounts. Members approved a small constitutional amendment relating to committee meeting quorums, and office‑bearers and committee members for the coming year were confirmed. The importance of member involvement was emphasised, with a call for more volunteers—particularly within the Men's Section—to support the continued running and development of the Club.

The meeting concluded with thanks to all volunteers, committee members, course owners, greenkeeping staff and clubhouse team for their ongoing support, before moving on to the Presentation Evening.
